My name is Steph, I love reading, and this is my attempt at blogging.
Here you’ll find my book reviews, book babbles and general book lovin’.
I’m relatively new to the reading scene. As a child, I loathed reading, especially for school. It was always a bore, and more often than not, I lied in my reading logs because I’d much rather play outside with my pets than read a boring book. But things took a change when (can you guess it?) Twilight came on the scene (bet you didn’t see that one coming).
In 2009, it was Twilight.
In 2010, it was Tomorrow, When the War Began.
In 2011, it was The Hunger Games.
And finally in 2013, it was Divergent.
From then on I became obsessed with young adult literature, and the obsession has only intensified in the past few years.
My list of favourite books changes all the time, but a few will remain constant:
- Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë
- Twilight by Stephenie Meyer (forever a Twihard)
- The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
- We Were Liars by E. Lockhart
- Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell
- Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor
